In 2003, Dr. Agarwal graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University, where she also met her husband and business partner. Together, they navigated the complexities of dental practice ownership and business management, leading to the creation of Practice By Numbers—an all-in-one platform designed to help healthcare professionals understand, measure, and optimize the business side of their practice.

Dr. Agarwal moved to Seattle in 2003 and spent nearly seven years as an associate in a large group practice before opening her first start-up practice in 2010. Faced with the challenges of running a business without formal business training, she found that Practice By Numbers was a game-changer. By embracing the data-driven insights provided by the platform, she achieved significant financial and clinical success, which enabled her to open a second start-up in 2016.

In late 2019, recognizing the growing need for integrated technology solutions, Practice By Numbers pivoted to introduce a comprehensive all-in-one platform for dental practices. As the company evolved, Dr. Agarwal took on a more prominent role, eventually becoming the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
